Let’s take care of your bike!
In this blog and video, in collaboration with TalentNED, we show you how you can maintain your bike.

Whether it's a road bike or a mountain bike, your bike goes through a lot during the fall. Sand, mud, and wet conditions can cause components to wear out faster. By properly maintaining your bike, you not only enjoy it for a longer time but also get more out of your next ride! In this blog and video, in collaboration with TalentNED, we show you how you can maintain your bike.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR RIDE

Step 1: Start by thoroughly rinsing the bike with a garden hose and prepare a lukewarm solution with Airolube Super Wash or Wash + Protect. Clean the bike using an Airolube wash brush and remove grease and dirt.

Step 2: When it's time to clean the chain, spray it with Airolube Super Degreaser and clean it using the convenient chain brush.

Step 3: The next step is to lubricate the chain. Make sure the chain is clean and dry. Apply Airolube Chain Wax or Airolube Chain Oil to the chain and let it sit for about half an hour.

Step 4: Do you want your bike to be showroom ready? Use Airolube Speedwax on the frame and make your bike shine!

TalentNED shows you in this video how you can easily maintain your bike!

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE

In addition to standard maintenance, it's wise to check a few things monthly. We've listed these for you!

Check your tire pressure: Getting a flat tire is the last thing you want during a nice ride. Therefore, check the tire pressure monthly.

Inspect the Tyre Sealer: If you use Airolube Tyre Sealer, we recommend checking and refilling the Tyre Sealer every six weeks if necessary.

Check bolts and nuts: Due to intensive use and vibrations during the ride, bolts or nuts may need to be tightened occasionally. Tighten the bolts and nuts and use one of our  assembly pastes if necessary!
