STEP 1: DEGREASING
For optimal results, thoroughly degrease your chain before using Ultimate Chain Wax. Use Ultimate Chain Cleaner for best results to completely remove dirt and old lubricants. Rinse the chain with water after degreasing and dry it thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
STEP 2: APPLYING THE ULTIMATE CHAIN WAX
Ensure the chain is completely dry before applying the chain wax. Apply Ultimate Chain Wax drop by drop to each link of the chain. One drop per link is sufficient. For best results, let the wax sit overnight to create a durable protective layer.
STEP 3: MAINTENANCE AFTER YOUR RIDES
After a ride, especially in wet or dirty conditions, it’s recommended to wipe the chain with a clean, dry cloth to remove moisture and dirt. Then apply a new layer of Ultimate Chain Wax to each link. This keeps your chain in top condition and extends the life of your drivetrain. After several rides, it’s advisable to repeat all the steps.
