Follow these simple steps to protect and maintain your chain sustainably.
STEP 1: DEGREASE
Before using Airolube All Season Wax for the first time, thoroughly degrease your chain. Preferably use a plant-based degreaser like Airolube Super Degreaser or Airolube Heavy Duty Degreaser. Rinse the chain with water and dry it with a clean, dry cloth.
STEP 2: APPLY THE CHAIN WAX
Apply Airolube All Season Wax drop by drop to each link of your dry chain. Let the wax sit for at least 1 hour (longer if possible) to allow a protective layer to form. Finally, gently wipe off any excess wax with a dry cloth.
STEP 3: MAINTENANCE AFTER RIDES
After a long or wet ride, wipe the chain with a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. Apply a new layer of chain wax to each link. This keeps your bike ready for the next ride. After 1000 km, thoroughly degrease the chain and rebuild the wax layer.
